Biophysics is a fast-growing research field that bridges Biology and Physics to investigate biological processes from a physical perspective. Physics provides a new conceptual approach and new tools to the biological world. Biology displays a universe of phenomena that often require the development of new physical concepts. In this context, the Master in Biophysics provides an interdisciplinary training in a variety of modern experimental, theoretical, and computational techniques, with an outlook on both fundamental research and applications. The program prepares students for a wide range of professional opportunities, both in academia and in biotechnological, biomedical, and pharmaceutical research facilities.
